It's so important to protect existing wild lands as much as possible, e.g. existing forest ecosystems, coastal prairie, etc. Right now our forests are under extreme threat. They protect our watersheds, and are essential habitat for a wide range of amazing wildlife. The only plants that need to be removed are invasive non-native plants such as Scotch, Spanish and French broom, German ivy, pampas grass, periwinkle (vinca major). Removing them makes way for native species to survive and thrive.
