Although I love the concept, many urban edible landscapes have not been successful as they have lacked the consistent care these plants need and food often is picked at the wrong time, not equitably shared, or goes to waste. Support more education on care for edible plants and encourage in home landscapes, community gardens, churches, schools and other sites where responsible parties will care for them.
