Zero carbon buildings -- all our buildings, both new and existing. The basic strategy is simple: first make buildings super energy-efficient, then go all-electric, and finally, provide the needed electricity from 100% clean, renewable sources.

Include the embodied energy of any building (or appliance) in the calculations. Think broadly - for example, an electric clothes dryer is not a net win. We can dry our clothes without energy year round.
It would be helpful to have a line in this vision about why going all-electric is desirable. Also point out how our current system included many gas-powered appliances (stoves, water heaters, etc). Briefly explain how switching to electric appliances enables a switch to powering these appliances with renewably-generated electricity
