I would advocate for a no-till, multi-crop, organically grown transition away from conventional farming. Also, an appreciation for native edibles might go a long way to helping folks be more aware of what grows here naturally without additional water, pesticides and herbicides.

And neither wine nor cannabis are counted as agricultural products. After all they are not food!

Would like to see people grow what they eat most often first, then what people say they want in CSA boxes, etc. Ex: grow a kitchen garden near a house, row crops further out. Grow green onions, tomatoes, a salsa garden plus kale and swiss chard near at hand for weekly use, lettuces, fruits, further out. Preference to native; add others you or your customers miss most after planting natives. Avoid trips to stores and purchase of items from far away by growing your own - and perhaps trading with a neighborhood group you create!

The greater the variety, the more resilience overall. A sharpshooter that impacts vines less likely to impact root crops...and so on.
